Russula aeruginea — Grass-green Russula — Russulaceae


Small to medium mushroom. Convex cap, becoming broadly convex to flat, sometimes shallowly depressed, viscid when moist, green with blotches, margin often striate when mature.  Gills close, attached or running (slightly) down stem, white aging to pale yellow, brown stains. Stalk equal or with tapered, stained base, white to pale yellow. Mycorrhizal.
 
Habitat: Solitary, scattered or groups, conifers or hardwoods.

Scent:
Not distinctive

Spores:
Creamy to orangish-yellow
