Small mushroom. Shell-shaped or nearly round cap, smooth or velvety surface, white, maturing to brown or cinnamon. Gills close, whitish, aging brownish. Stalk absent. Saprophytic.
 
Habitat:
Scattered to gregarious or overlapping clusters on woody debris, branches, and herbaceous matter. 

Scent: Not distinctive

Spores:
Brown

Season: Autumn
