Cortinarius seidliae —  Cortinariaceae


Medium mushroom. Conical cap when young, becoming plane with a small umbo; surface smooth, very viscid, yellow-brown with darker radial streaks. Stalk cream to pale yellow brown; sometimes with violet tints when young. Notched gills, attached to stalk, dull yellow becoming rusty-brown. Mycorrhizal.
 
 
Habitat: In small groups under conifers.

Scent: Not distinctive

Spores: Rusty-brown

Season: Autumn
